Indo- German Collaborations

All  collaboration agreements between India and Foreign Companies require prior approval of the Government authorities for setting up a Joint Venture.  The Government has delegated authority to the Reserve Bank of India(RBI) to sanction such collaboration of proposals on an automatic basis within the specific limits.

For proposals falling outside the jurisdiction of the RBI, the sanction has to be sought from the Secretarial for Industrial Assistance(SIA) in the Union Ministry of Industry.
